Welcome to the Internet home of the Association for Women Journalists in Springfield, Illinois. This chapter was formed in 1997. It is one of seven AWJ chapters across the United States.

The Association for Women Journalists is a national, not-for-profit organization of working print and broadcast journalists. The association is designed to help both men and women further their education, professionalism and careers.
